I’m Susan, and I have spent three decades in my field so far! I am a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and wellness expert who specializes in weight management, chronic disease prevention and management, wellness & lifestyle coaching, integrative nutrition, culinary nutrition and healthy cooking.
I am a published author of a diet/cookbook, entitled “Cooking with Trader Joe’s: Lighten Up!” and host of the “SENSe of Wellness Podcast”.
My work focuses on developing and delivering “food as medicine” and lifestyle programs and products that help improve Americans’ health and help individuals achieve optimal health through diet and overall lifestyle.
In addition, I am the creator of and talent for two television cooking series: “Lighten Up with Susan Greeley” and “Simply Healthy”.
In my nutrition practice, I consult with private clients and organizations to develop programs and provide individualized nutrition assessments and education for a broad range of topics. For more than 15 years, I have provided nutrition consults for an Executive Health Program and worked collaboratively with physicians to improve individuals’ health outcomes.
I am a current member of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), as well as the Dietitians in Integrative & Functional Medicine (DIFM) and Food and Culinary Professionals (FCP) practice groups of the AND.
I hold an MS in Nutrition Communication from Tufts University and a BS in Dietetics from Miami University, and I’ve lived and studied in Germany—bringing an international perspective to leadership, communications, and innovation.
My professional and personal passions: motherhood (boy mom x 4), women’s health, family health, culinary adventures and cooking, photography, yoga, skiing, outdoor adventures, nature, travel, and exploring cuisines and cultures, global wellness, healthspan & longevity, and sharing wisdom while continually learning and staying inquisitive and open minded.
