Susan is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) of 25 years and a food and nutrition expert and consultant who specializes in weight management, chronic disease prevention and management, wellness & lifestyle coaching, integrative nutrition, culinary nutrition and healthy cooking.
Susan is the author of a diet/cookbook, entitled “Cooking with Trader Joe’s: Lighten Up!”
Susan’s focus is to develop, promote and deliver “food as medicine” nutrition programs that help improve Americans’ diets and help individuals achieve optimal health through diet and overall lifestyle.
Susan is the creator of and talent for two television cooking series: “Lighten Up with Susan Greeley” and “Simply Healthy”.
In her nutrition practice, Susan consults with private clients and organizations to develop programs and provide individualized nutrition assessments and education for a broad range of topics. She provides nutrition consults for Executive Health and works collaboratively with physicians to improve individuals’ health outcomes.
Susan is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), as well as the Dietitians in Integrative & Functional Medicine (DIFM) and Food and Culinary Professionals (FCP) practice groups of the AND.
Susan holds a Master of Science Degree in Nutrition Communication from Tufts University in Boston and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. When she is not working, Susan is cooking up creative, healthy recipes and busy bringing up four boys (and being soccer mom!) She is an outdoor enthusiast, loves yoga, skiing, hiking, and walks on the beach as much as climbing peaks.
